Creighton Burns has 45 years of basketball-coaching experience to his credit. Thirty-one of those years have come at public high schools in Indiana and Michigan (currently at Breckenridge High, Mich.) while the other 14 years have come at the college level (NCAA Division II, NAIA Division I & II and junior college). Burns has made a career of rebuilding programs on the decline and turning them into winners.

 

Ron Brown coached college and high school basketball in the state of Maine for 34 years. He was a member of the Winning Hoops Editorial Advisory Board and had a weekly column in the Bangor Daily News (Bangor, Maine). Ron Brown passed away due complications from kidney failure on Aug. 5, 2009.

 

Bill Salyers is a member of the Winning Hoops Editorial Advisory Board and is a current coach at Miamisburg High (Ohio). Salyers has authored the best-selling Winning Hoops book Basketball Basics: Building Blocks For Coaching Youth Basketball.

 

Les Cano has been coaching basketball for more than 15 years from the middle-school level to now at the high school level (5A) in New Mexico. He has worked at camps with Bob Knight, Joe Scott and Bruce Pearl.
